Together, they owned a renowned winery—passed down from generation to generation—in the rolling hills of Sicily, where Ilya spent her childhood surrounded by lush vineyards and the art of winemaking.From a young age, Ilya was captivated by the world around her. The sparkling Mediterranean Sea was her playground, and she spent countless hours exploring the shoreline, collecting seashells and observing marine life. However, her childhood was also marked by thrilling karting adventures. At just seven years old, she started racing go-karts, quickly becoming a local champion. The adrenaline of competition fueled her spirit, and she often dreamed of speed and freedom on the racetrack.As she grew older, Ilya’s interests began to shift. The wonders of the ocean called to her more strongly than the roar of engines.
